History and General information about the Department

The graduating Department of «International business law and political science» was established in 2016. The teaching staff of the Department was formed mainly from highly professional specialists with academic titles and degrees, as well as from among practitioners and graduates of the University.

The staff of the Department conducts methodical, research and educational work. The teaching staff of the Department actively participates in conferences, seminars, international, Republican, interuniversity round tables. An important direction of development of legal education is high-quality practical training of future lawyers.

Educational activity

Educational activity of the Department in the direction of training » Jurisprudence” is carried out on the basis of State educational standards of the Kyrgyz Republic.

Our Department carries out a lot of work on the method of teaching and individual work, consultations with students, provides training of qualified specialists in the field of «Jurisprudence».

Every year the staff of the Department reviewed and updated methodological materials, tests, tasks for practical classes, lectures for students. Materials of lectures and seminars are relevant, cover priority areas of modern jurisprudence.

A modular-point-rating system for assessing students knowledge was introduced in the educational process. Different level of complexity tasks are developed for this purpose. Exams are taken according to the list of questions, which covers all the passed material of the studied subject.

Research work

The teaching staff of the Department takes part in international conferences, seminars, round tables, information about scientific publications, reports, manuals, monographs update every year, actively engage in research in their areas.

Asanov S. A. defended his thesis in April 2019 on the topic: «the Development of the Institute of meditation in the Kyrgyz Republic as a form of resolving legal conflicts (theoretical and legal research) »

Semenov N. S. defended his thesis on November 6, 2019 on the topic: «Natural law and its theoretical features in the formation of society»

Kydyrmambet k M. works on a candidate’s thesis on the topic «Inheritance of copyright rights in the Kyrgyz Republic»

Bekniyazova M. A. works on the candidate’s thesis on the topic: «Legal entity as a subject of entrepreneurial activity in the Kyrgyz Republic»

Kydyraliyeva S. Ch. works on a candidate’s thesis on the topic: «International judicial defence of children’s rights»

Scientific-research work of students

Our students participate in interuniversity international competitions, where they take prizes. Research work of students is one of the most important means of improving the quality of training and education of specialists with higher education in the field of law, able to creatively apply in practice the achievements of scientific, technical and cultural progress.

So our students in March 2019 took part in the intellectual game «Law Quizz», organized by the Kyrgyz state Law Academy under the government of the Kyrgyz Republic and took 1st place.

About 5 first and second year students took part in the interuniversity student conference on «Actual problems of science development in Kyrgyzstan».

Educational work

The teaching staff of the Department performs educational and methodical work, including the preparation of textbooks, teaching AIDS. Employees of the Department prepare lectures using modern multimedia equipment, take modules in the test system.

The Department conducted the following activities:

On January 19, 2019, the International University of the Kyrgyz Republic held training on «Mediation techniques in pedagogical activity». The coach was Ph.D in Legal Sceinces, Acting Assoc. Prof. Niyazov Dj.Sh.

On February 15, 2019, the Department of «International, business law and political science» held training for the teaching staff on the topic: «Modern methods of teaching in higher education».

On March 13, 2019, the faculty of the Department of «International, business law and political science» held a round table on the theme: «Implementation and protection of human rights in the modern world», dedicated to the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
