The Department of Physical Education And Sport was created in 1994, consists of:
- Khromov G.A. (Master of Sports), 1980. Kaz.IFC, Alma-Ata (physical education), Head of Department, Associate Professor
- Bakytbekov S.B. (CCM), 2016 KGAFKiS, Bishkek, teacher
- Usonov M.U. (Master of Sports), 2017. KGAFKiS, Bishkek, teacher
The main aim of department is physical activity and good health of students.
Work on creating quality workouts and training.
Research work of the department
All these issues are reflected in reports at various conferences and in scientific topics: “Physical culture as an integral factor in the formation of a young specialist who has a healthy lifestyle and high performance in future work.”
The department developed a course of lectures:
- «The subject of Physical Culture — goals and objectives»;
- «PAPT (professionally applied physical training) is an integral part of the formation of a young specialist.»
Educational and methodical work
The pedagogical staff of the department performs educational and methodical work, which includes the preparation of educational and methodological manuals.

Kyrgyzstan has strong ties with educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan. Thanks to this, the teachers of the department share their experiences, participating in various scientific, methodological and sports activities, holding match meetings in various sports.
Planning for research and training of students using professional training programs taking into account the characteristics and interests of students.
Teachers of the departments discuss, guide, share their experience in preparing students for participation in student scientific and practical conferences.
One of the main tasks of the department was the activation of educational research and research work of students on the problems of physical culture and sports.
Teachers of the department improve their professional level, gain experience in the creative use of physical education and sports activities to achieve a higher professional level.
The department developed a module of independent work of students. Professionally-applied physical training and use in future work. Tasks for independent work and ways to control it have been developed. Together with the module on the theory of physical culture, this module will allow you to effectively organize classes for students of the 1st year of full-time education.
This system combines direct methodological principles and methods of physical preparation and the latest methods of organizing the transfer of material.
The significance of physical culture presupposes the achievement of the unity of knowledge in the student world, the awareness of one’s level of culture, the development of cultural self-awareness, abilities and capabilities to transform cultural activities.
Classes for 1st year students of the IUKR are held in the sports hall of the NOU UNPK IUK, and basketball, volleyball, football, chess and toguz-korgool sections are organized there. Today, 3 Masters of Sports and 6 CCMs are studying with us.
Kyrgyzstan has strong ties with educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan. Thanks to this, match meetings were held in various sports. According to the calendar events held by competitions in various sports, national teams are organized.
The efforts of the department, faculty the teaching staff also takes an active part in physical culture and sports events held within the University — «physical culture and sports festival» HEALTH DAY «at the Sports Palace», «physical culture and health water festival in the pool.» In the sports contest «Health», held by the republican center for sports and recreation «Zhashtyk» of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Educational activity
The educational activities of the department are held in all faculties, since the department is a serving department. A modular point-rating system for assessing students’ knowledge has been introduced into the educational process. For this, questions, tickets and tests of various difficulty levels have been developed. Teachers conduct classes for first-year students in the following areas:
