- General provisions
- The Educational and Methodical Council (EMS) is a collegial body established to regulate documentation, develop and carry out measures aimed at improving the quality of education, and develop proposals for educational and methodical support of the educational process.
- EMS is a permanent advisory collegial body under the Academic Council of the University and carries out its activities in accordance with the legislation of the Kyrgyz Republic on education, the charter and normative documents of the University, this Regulation.
- Goals and objectives of the Educational and Methodical Council
- Purposes of educational and methodical council:
- Creation of an effective system of quality management of the educational process in the institution «International University of Kyrgyz Republic,» ensuring updating of the content and forms of the educational process
- Ensuring that the content, level and quality of training at the university are in conformity with the current State educational standards of higher and secondary vocational education.
- Continuous improvement of the quality system of graduate training.
- Study, synthesis and integration of positive experience of implementation of the main professional educational programs and additional educational programs.
- The main tasks of the teaching and methodical council are:
- Development of proposals on the strategy of educational and methodological activities and on the formation of priority directions in its development;
- Analysis of working curricula, educational programs in courses, disciplines, specialties (in terms of implementation of basic and variable parts of the GOS VO and GOS ACT);
- General direction and coordination of teaching and methodical work of teachers, departments of the university,
- Monitoring and continuous improvement of the educational process;
- Introduction of innovative teaching techniques and modern information technologies into the educational process;
- Organization and implementation of internal audit and monitoring of training and methodological work.

- Organization of examination and review of educational and methodological materials;
- Coordination and diagnostics of the activities of the departments of the IUKR (faculties, departments) on the implementation of the system «Quality Management of Education» as a guarantee of the quality of the educational process;
- Identification, compilation and dissemination of progressive experience of educational process organization in departments, work of individual teachers;
- Coordination of training and methodological work of IASC units

- Planning and coordination of interaction of structural subdivisions of the university on issues of educational and methodological work;

- Information and analytical support for monitoring educational activities of the University;
- Implementation of innovative potential in the University’s educational process.
